Giuseppe Zanotti Unveils New Fall/Winter 2019 Campaign

Giuseppe Zanotti is exploring the power of contradictions in its new cinematic-inspired Fall/Winter 2019 campaign.
The images–shot on film by London-based photographer Suffo Moncloa–center on contrasts, and feature models Felice Noordhoff and Mateusz Chmielewski in a shadowy dreamland infused with pools of soft, hazy red lighting. The minimalist backdrops and set pieces allow upcoming styles, such as the mixed-media Susie Feline pumps and silver Hattie boot, to remain front and center. Two new men’s designs, the one-of-a-kind Blabber sneaker and crocodile-embossed Abbey boot, are also met with an extra dose of drama.
While Moncloa’s images establish a sleek and sensual introduction to the campaign, an additional video by experimental filmmaker Sharna Osborne explores a much more lively and unexpected side of the brand, tinged with elements of ’90s VHS tape nostalgia.
According to Zanotti, the juxtaposition of Osborne and Moncloa’s work embodies the ethos of the new collection: self-assuredness, sophistication, playfulness, and confidence. He states in the press release, “With the campaign, I wanted to portray both facets of the Giuseppe Zanotti man and woman—elegant, modern, individualistic and always with a certain something that stands out from everyone else.”
