Proenza Schouler just released the fashion version of a greatest hits album. The brand is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and to celebrate, designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have curated a special re-release of 15 pieces from past collections.

The new capsule, called Re Edition, features looks from a range of collections which premiered between 2005 and 2016. To make it cohesive and fresh, McCollough and Hernandez put the pieces into a palette of black, white, ecru, and “Proenza Schouler blue.” Other references to brand signatures include custom-developed fabrics, archival prints, tie-dye, pleating, fringe, knitwear, and modern tailoring.

To get the world excited about the retrospective collection, the brand has released a series of celebratory photos. These include McCollough and Hernandez effortlessly posing while hard at work, intimate throwbacks to the original looks, and of course, the reinvented pieces themselves. The images offer proof of how far the brand has come since its early aughts beginnings, as well as their ability to make their cool reputation transcend time.

This is Proenza Schouler’s second time reinventing pieces for an anniversary, with the first being a limited Fall 2003 re-release to commemorate ten years. If the new capsule teaches us anything other than the brand’s enduring aesthetic, it’s that perhaps the 2000s are about to become a full-blown nostalgia trend. The world has already seen Crocs, Uggs, and track pants make a comeback, and it looks like fashion could be headed to celebrating the decade’s iconic high-end pieces as well.

The Proenza Schouler Re Edition collection is available online now.
