Cindy Crawford Has a Sizzling New Collaboration with RE/DONE

If every supermodel has a “brand,” Cindy Crawford’s is pretty clear: All-American, down-to-earth, and totally sexy―in nothing but jeans and a t-shirt. So it’s fitting that RE/DONE, the sustainable brand re-purposing vintage basics from labels like Levi’s, Hanes, and Champion, has tapped the model to collaborate on a new limited-edition capsule. “She popularized the look that is the core of the brand,” said RE/DONE’s co-founder Sean Barron.

The collection, named “The Crawford,” features jeans, a sweatshirt, and long-sleeve tees (the latter of which are emblazoned with Crawford’s signature), making for a casually chic trio that’s perfect for the early-fall weather.

The idea for a collaboration came about when Crawford posted an Instagram of herself in Levi’s 501 jeans saying that she was “doing the RE/DONE look before RE/DONE existed.” Talk about an authentic brand connection.

To launch the partnership―which officially drops in mid-September―RE/DONE will release 20 pieces from The Crawford collection today via Instagram Stories’ swipe-to-shop function (promoted on both Crawford and RE/DONE’s accounts).

To further celebrate the launch, RE/DONE has also released a lookbook. The images, shot by CR fav Sebastian Faena, feature Crawford in her natural element: in blue jeans on the beach.

The Crawford capsule collection will be available at Barneys, Colette, and Ron Herman Japan, and online at shopredone.com in mid-September.
