Jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher has been dipping her creative hand into a unexpected pot since 2016 when she decided to expand her business beyond jewelry. It all started with a few Instagrams of what she was making for her and her family at home (her avocado toast is Insta-famous). Seeing that her food was garnering as much of a following as her jewelry, she went for the launch of a lifestyle segment on her brand’s website. There, she dishes out recipes from her JF Kitchen, provides upscale gift guides, and showcases her status as a serious foodie. She also began production of her infamous table salts, called Jennifer Fisher Salts, has earned her the nickname the “condiment queen.” Her own special blend stems from her desire for maximum flavor, but always in an all-in-one bottle. Her first JF Universal Salt is a finishing salt without the harsh taste of garlic and onion that can used on just about anything. Today, Fisher introduced a second product in her condiment line: a new Curry Salt.

Fisher describes the recipe as “a savory addition that could still be a universal seasoning, but something that would amplify and broaden flavor.” It’s an updated alternative to a traditional table salt with a blend of aromatics and flavors that Fisher says can be used on something as gentle as a summer vegetable or as hardy as a protein. The ingredients include kosher salt, yellow curry powder, organic dried cilantro, organic crushed chili pepper, and black pepper. Of course, if you’re not feeling inspired, you can always consult Jennifer who’s whipping up new recipes on the daily.
