Prada’s Launching a Line of Jewelry Inspired by Ancient Talismans

Prada is launching its first jewelry line using semi-precious stones. The offering is part of the house’s Fall 2017 collection and was inspired by mystical talismans. The talisman is a primitive religious object that’s been coveted for its spiritual powers of protection as far back as Ancient Greece. Miuccia’s incarnation of the prized artifact comes in gold and crystal and will be available to shop during the last week of June. Through to September, more styles will continue to be rolled out. Here, watch the collection’s accompanying film for a first glimpse of the jewelry. In it, you’ll see an otherworldly model interacting with the sacred symbol in an appropriately natural setting.
