Paris, California, and a historic Louis Vuitton workshop all in one place — what more could you ask for?

Louis Vuitton has again delivered an impressive savoir-faire experience that is as immersive as it is carefully curated. Featuring many of the house’s most extraordinary products, the event is in line with its tradition of regional savoir-faire activations to celebrate the craftsmanship of its rare items.

After a summer of several brands building immersive fashion pop-ups, Louis Vuitton’s savoir-faire experience feels right in line with what guests are loving right now while highlighting the house’s legendary heritage.

The experience has it all. Amidst a curated selection of iconic hard-sided trunks, exotic handbags, and expertly crafted bespoke items, there are sitting areas accessorized with trunks as coffee tables. Broken up into three distinct stages — a Parisian apartment with a nod to Hollywood’s black and white film era, an homage to a historic Louis Vuitton workshop, and an immersive California seaside escape — each space reveals a selection of pieces from the house.

The Parisian apartment features several iconic Louis Vuitton gowns, including those worn by Regina King and Lupita Nyong’o. Guests will have the opportunity to see the handiwork up close while immersing themselves in the world of Louis Vuitton and Paris. The apartment also houses a collection of bespoke jewelry, handbags, and accessories.

In the workshop, experience the craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton, from a pool table in a colorway never before seen in the United States to a high tea trunk. New colorways of Objets Nomades designed by Damien Langlois-Meurinne and Tokujin Yoshioka have debuted for the first time stateside via this setting. Other trunks are decorated in the Monogram Since 1854 pattern and a National Basketball Association theme.

The final stage, a beach escape, shows the waves changing depending on the hour of the day. With a Louis Vuitton picnic basket and blanket set up on the sand, guests will be ready to pick up and go to the nearest sandy beach as soon as possible.

Alongside the handbags and other objects is an expansive selection of Objets Nomades furniture and decor — talk about interior design inspo.

While the space includes several wearable pieces including one-of-a-kind handbags, fine jewelry and watches, special collaborations (including the new Louis Vuitton x Fornasetti collection and pieces designed by renowned Los Angeles artist Alex Israel), this event is also a tribute to the founder of the eponymous house, Louis Vuitton. Celebrating his bicentennial birthday, there is a distinct focus on the history, heritage, and artistry that has since become synonymous with the name.

Located in Goya Studios in Hollywood, the savoir-faire activation is open to guests by private appointment only now until September 25.
