What to See at Frieze New York

Now in its sixth year, Frieze New York has become a must-see event on par with Art Basel and Armory Week. Tomorrow, heavy-hitting collectors, billionaires, fashion insiders (a la Raf Simons), and celebrities (Leonardo Dicaprio was in attendance last year) will descend on Randall’s Island for the V.I.P. preview of the art fair featuring over 200 leading galleries from 31 countries. One of the major stories at Frieze this year is the bevy of female artists and exhibits in the spotlight. We chatted with art consultant Andi Potamkin, the founder of private design advisory Le Mise, about some of highlights she’s looking forward to at Frieze this weekend, including eight of her favorite female artists below.
