Images of Young Anjelica Huston

START

Revered for her towering stature and undeniable self-assuredness, Anjelica Huston is not only a head-turning beauty, but also a jack of all trades. The film industry runs in her blood: as the granddaughter of actor Walter Huston and the daughter of award-winning director John Huston, Anjelica interacted with prominent Hollywood celebrities throughout her youth, and made her first feature film debut at the age of 18 as Claudia in A Walk With Love And Death. From that point on, she began training with acting coach Peggy Feury and gaining consistent exposure in various films. In 1986, she received an Academy Award for her depiction of Maerose Prizzi in the movie Prizzi’s Honor, and would later be nominated twice more for roles in Enemies, A Love Story and The Grifters. In addition to her successful modeling, acting, and directing careers, Huston has also authored two memoirs, A Story Lately Told and Watch Me.

In honor of her 68th birthday, CR reflects on different looks and roles the brooding, raven-haired beauty took on in her early years.
