Yesterday evening, Beyoncé debuted a music video for her new song “Spirit,” which will be released on the upcoming The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack this Friday. The album, which she executive produced and curated, includes contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Tierra Whack, and Childish Gambino, and accompanies the debut of the live-action version of the Disney classic.

The video showcases top-tier talent from Africa alongside Beyoncé, who voices Nala in the highly-anticipated The Lion King remake to be released on July 18. On top of her mesmerizing voice and sweeping cinematic shots of Arizona’s Havasu Falls, clips of the characters from The Lion King are also featured. Throughout the video, viewers are treated to Queen Bey in a variety of earthy green, blue, and red looks, including a grin-inducing shot of the glowing mother in a light pink Valentino haute couture ruffled gown to match her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Although uploaded only 13 hours ago, the video has already garnered over 2.3 million views and counting.
