Joan Collins Dressed as Herself from Dynasty For the Met Gala

To cap off the camp-themed 2019 Met Gala, Joan Collins took the sartorial cue quite literally and showed up to the pink carpet as her character, the vengeful Alexis Carrington, from the ’80s soap opera Dynasty. Collins attended the biggest night in fashion with Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, Julianne Moore, Lykke Li, and Mark Ronson.

The silver screen legend wore an all-white tiered gown by Valentino covered in feathers, complete with a diamond-encrusted tiara and jewels. Collins managed to stay on theme, while reviving one of the most iconic soap opera characters of the ’80s.
