Does Kanye West Have a Cosmetics Line in the Works?

There may be one more member of the Kardashian-Jenner circle ready to shake up the cosmetics industry. According to legal documents surfaced today, Kanye West recently filed a Yeezy trademark covering everything but the kitchen sink. From Yeezy makeup and skincare to fake eyelashes, nail polish, haircare, shaving creams, toothpaste, deodorant, fragrances, and more, the venture could include a number of products. Scented pine cones and aromatherapy pillows even made their way onto the list.

West has taken the first steps to launching a beauty brand before. In 2017, he filed similar paperwork to trademark Donda brand cosmetics, named after his late mother, but the project was never realized.

West has yet to make a statement on the possible line extension. However, the nine-figure success of Kim Kardashian West’s KKW Beauty and Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics have proven how lucrative the beauty realm is, and has most likely influenced West’s decision to stake Yeezy’s claim in cosmetics.
