While flying cross-country, do you ever find yourself wish that the view from your window seat were a bit more…fashionable? Well, you’re in-luck, because Bottega Veneta’s latest Wardrobe 02 rooftop campaign falls directly in the flightpath to LAX and can be viewed by passengers from the sky as they arrive at and depart from Los Angeles.
The campaign features Venezuelan musician Arca and Italian ballet dancer Roberto Bolle on two giant billboards facing sky-ward in looks from the brand’s Pre-Fall 2021 collection by Creative Director, Daniel Lee. They are separated by an equally mammoth emerald-green sign that bares the Milan-based fashion house’s name in large black letters. Arca can be seen wearing a sleeveless, high neck gown, in the same shade of green, that is covered in clear plastic paillettes. Bolle on the other hand, sports an all-black ensemble, consisting of a black turtleneck, trousers, boots, and leather trench.
With this uniquely placed signage, which will be up through October 1, Bottega’s latest looks are constantly well-illuminated in the LA sunshine. However, to ensure that passengers taking off and landing in the evening can get a glimpse of the campaign too, the brand has outlined Arca and Bolle’s silhouettes, as well as their name in bright white lights. So, at LAX, no matter when you fly or where you fly to, Bottega will be there to wish you a safe and stylish flight.
