A 57-second clip of Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar’s upcoming short film, La Voz Humana, starring Tilda Swinton just dropped, and in front of a grey, industrial background stands a glistening red focal point: the Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2020 Dome dress.

The short, which will be Almodóvar’s first English-language film, is based on a play by Jean Cocteau in which a woman spirals into depression after hearing that her lover will be marrying someone else. The 30-minute film will premiere at the Venice International Film Festival on September 3.

In preparation for its debut, stills from the film—and now a short video teaser—have appeared on social media in the past few days. Swinton dons many fresh-off-the-runway Balenciaga looks in the stills, including a red knit turtleneck and pants from the Fall/Winter 2019 collection and a turquoise suit from the house’s Cruise 2020 collection.

The eye-catching red gown Swinton wears in the video teaser, however, was perhaps one of designer Demna Gvasalia’s most talked-about (and meme-ed) creations yet. Shown on the runway in Semptember 2019 in royal blue, crimson, black, and metallic iterations, Swinton now steals the show in bright red.
