The unjust deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery have sparked a reactive uprising across the entire world in the past week. Black Lives Matter protesters have continue to push ahead, coming together to fight the oppressive systems that have existed within the United States for far, far too long.
While tens of thousands take to the streets, social media is simultaneously serving as a tool of action and education, with many activists and allies sharing protest information, donation links, legal resources, and words of introspection and hope. Amidst this, fashion labels, beauty brands, and other companies have the opportunity to use their platforms to set an example and spark true social change. By speaking out and donating, the actions of these entities can make a significant impact as the movement rages on.
