Hot off the heels of her first campaign for Prada for Spring/Summer 2019, Gigi Hadid has graced the Prada runway for the first time. During Milan Fashion Week Men’s Fall/Winter 2019, Hadid sported boyish (presumably clip-on) fringe by hairstylist Guido Palau, a blue skirt-dress coated in gemstones, and matching embellished flat-forms.

Hadid and Prada also joined hands earlier this week, unveiling a womenswear campaign that featured the CR star with bleached eyebrows and dramatic doll-like lashes. It’s been a year of firsts for Prada; last year, Anok Yai became the first black model to open the show since Naomi Campbell back in 1997.

Hadid was quick to share the exciting milestone on Instagram, captioning her post, “Just when you think more dreams couldn’t come true ….. ✨ So honored to walk@PRADA FW ‘19 tonight.”

It’s not uncommon for houses to showcase a handful of women’s looks during their shows. Just days prior, Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, and Kaia Gerber joined the star-studded catwalk at Versace Fall/Winter 2019 in Milan, which showcased pre-fall womenswear in addition to men’s.
