Few things are more synonymous with Coco Chanel’s legacy than the color red. The original launch of her signature “Rouge Allure” lipstick in 1924 revolutionized the way women wear red lips, and in the process became one of the best-selling lipsticks of all time.

Just in time for the holiday season, the brand will open an all-red beauty pop-up boutique in New York City–honoring the heritage of Coco’s love for the color.

The new pop-up, suitably called “Le Rouge”, will be decked out in red and will present a curated selection of beauty products–from the classic red lipstick, to a red bottled collector’s edition of the signature Chanel N°5 fragrance.

It will also offer gift wrapping stations and, in a similar manner to previous designer pop-ups, host a slew of in-store beauty events, including makeup consultations with prominent Chanel makeup artists Fulvia Farolfi, Cyndle K., Kate Lee, and Tyron Machausen.

The boutique will additionally give fans of the brand a range of to-die-for collector’s items to drool over–including a collector’s edition of the N°5 perfume bottle covered in red Baccarat crystals. The fragrance, retailing at 000, will be 10 times bigger than the original size with only 55 bottles available in the world.

In other words: it’s beginning to look a lot like a very Chanel Christmas.

The new pop-up will be open from Dec.7 to Dec. 23 and will be located on 5 East 57th Street in New York City.
