The first recorded long distance road trip took place in 1888 in Germany. Since then, roads expanded and cars got faster. President Eisenhower advocated for the creation of the Interstate Highway System in America and in 1956, construction began. Now, a road trip is an integral part of summer. Family and friends set off in search of adventure and discovery.
