Calabasas Gets Its First High Fashion Boutique

Calabasas was home to the rich and famous long before the Kardashian clan made it part of pop culture parlance, and Kanye emblazoned the city name on his Yeezy Supply line. But despite having a celebrity per capita on par with Beverly Hills or Bel Air, until recently, Calabasas’ downtown shopping center only boasted pretty basic retailers you’d find on any other Main Street.

Things have since changed with the opening of The Kingdom, a new luxury accessories concept store that couldn’t be better named considering it’s located in the same zip code as American royalty including Kimye, Beiber, and Drake. The store’s interior is a fantasy land filled with pink velvet couches, chinoiserie-print walls, antique mirrors, a gargantuan chandelier, and Al Hirschfeld artworks depicting Audrey Hepburn.

As for the merch, The Kingdom carries all the requisite high-end brands like Saint Laurent, Gucci, Gianvito Rossi, Loewe, and Aquazarra. They also have more unique offerings, like custom Manolo Blahniks in limited-edition colors and vintage Hermes bags. Plus, the store will be receiving a shipment of Fall’s already-iconic ,000 Saint Laurent crystal slouch boots.
