The general public has been fervently anticipating the comeback of Twin Peaks. And nobody was as excited about the revival of David Lynch’s cult 90s television series as the fashion industry. Designers have long mined Twin Peaks for inspiration, riffing on everything from FBI agent Dale Cooper’s signature boxy trench, to the wholesome-as-cherry-pie “sweater girl” look epitomized by Audrey Horne, to the graphic black-and-white pattern on the floor of the show’s famous “Red Room.” Read on for some of our favorite Twin Peaks references on the runways over the past few years.
