Charlotte Rampling Makes Her Loewe Modeling Debut

START

Before Loewe’s Spring 2017 show at Paris’ landmark Unesco House in September, Jonathan Anderson fitted twelve looks on Charlotte Rampling and model Kiki Willems. Together with long-time collaborators Benjamin Bruno and Jamie Hawkesworth, he then staged a shoot both in and around the show’s location. Quite how he had time for this before a 50-look runway show is one thing, but the results from the shoot have just been released in the form of new limited edition book.

Printed in a run of 1,200, the new volume is the twelfth publication of its sort since Anderson took over creative control of the house in 2014 and is somewhere in-between a coffee table tome and a super chic lookbook. Like the others before it, its clever because it offers a glimpse into Anderson’s woman for the upcoming season. In this case, the combined cool of Rampling and Willems makes us think of an ageless and independent female figure, who most likely has an interest in the arts and plays art house films on loop.

Scroll through for a sneak peek inside the new edition, simply titled “Publication No.12.”
