British jeweler Graff Diamonds has just gotten its hands on one of the largest rough diamonds in the world. The jeweler has a longstanding reputation for handling massive stones, they have cut more than half of the largest rough diamonds found in the last century. Last year they acquired the world’s biggest heart shaped diamond, which weighs in at 273 carats and is in technical terms, flawless.

Their latest acquisition is a massive 373.72 carat, uncut diamond. It was found in a Botswana mine, and was a part of a massive 1,109 carat stone called the Lesedi la Rona. Lesedi was insured for 0 million last year, before jewelers began the process of breaking up the stone. Lesedi is the third-largest diamond ever found and is estimated to be about three billion years old.

Graff only got a small piece of the big mama stone, but they still stand to make significant profit. Their team of master cutters and gemologists has gone to work polishing it to be ready for purchase. Graff most often sells its massive stones to private clients, but it seems hard to imagine the weighty rock being wearable. A 300 carat engagement ring would snap one’s finger off. Then again, the Queen is 90 and able to carry the massive crown jewels without hunching over.
