Do you love high fashion, but lack the funds to acquire it? Fret no more—your time has come. Today WWD reports that Proenza Schoulder will be launching “White Label,” a more affordable secondary line, in November.
The collection will feature basic pieces (such as denim, t-shirts, and bags) that have previously been included in the main collection. Adding a helping hand will be Elizabeth Giardina, previous design director of Derek Lam 10 Crosby, who joined the Proenza Schouler team last January.
As for the original Proenza Schouler? It seems that Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez will continue to have their sights set on Paris. The duo will not show during New York fashion week this season, having presented their Spring ’18 collection in Paris during couture week last July. Hopefully with this sister line they’ll keep one foot in America.
Proenza Schouler White Label will be available in November.
