With Paris Fashion Week just underway, there’s no better time to book a trip to the City of Light—whether you’re part of the fashion industry or not. Aside from delectable French cuisine, charming architecture, and street style fodder replete with celebrity and model sightings, Paris’ picturesque bridges—there’s a whopping 37 total that span the famous Seine river separating the Left and Right Banks—are worth the trek alone. On the fashion front, the Seine has been host to affairs thrown by L’Oreal and Chanel, although the latter was simply a recreation of it at the Grand Palais. In any case, La Rive Gauche (the Left Bank) and La Rive Droite (the Right Bank) are equally enticing parts of Paris, despite the friendly competition between the two that exists among locals.
