Tom Ford Referenced His Own ’90s Gucci Collection for Fall/Winter 2019

Tom Ford kicked off NYFW with his Fall/Winter 2019 show, held at the Park Avenue Armory last night. In addition to seriously smoldering beauty looks, Ford’s catwalk referenced the ultra-sexy glamour from his heyday at Gucci, where he worked as creative director alongside Carine. More specifically, the lineup for his eponymous label mirrored his Fall/Winter 1996 collection for the Italian house—think lush silks, velvets in jewel tones, and tailored leather coats.
