When Tom Ford speaks, fashion listens. If you haven’t yet perused the designer’s latest candid interview with NY Mag, you’re overdue for some Ford-tastic enlightenment regarding: the state of the industry, sex and censorship in 2017, his decision to do NYFW this season, and so much more.

One detail we were particularly interested in? Ford hinted his new Spring 2018 is inspired by…himself. Specifically, some of his most iconic collections and ad campaigns created for Gucci in the late nineties and early aughts—many styled by our own Carine Roitfeld—that are experiencing a renewed relevance in the current fashion zeitgeist.
