Valentino shows have been a staple of Paris Fashion Week since 1975, when the luxury fashion house became among the first to debut a ready-to-wear collection. Only couture had been showcased prior, however, Valentino was early to predict the desire for ready-made designer garments. Since then, the Valentino name has been synonymous with redefining luxury ready-to-wear.
After showing Valentino’s past two ready-to-wear seasons in Milan, Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli returns to Paris to unveil his Spring/Summer 2022 collection, entitled “Rendez-Vous.” Translating in English to a date or arrangement to meet, the name encourages all to join the livestream and congregate virtually to appreciate Valentino’s latest looks. In typical Valentino fashion, Piccioli will bestow a collection that is not to be missed, carrying drama and elegance down the catwalk.
