As per usual, trends were aplenty this season on the Milanese runway. Daniel Lee’s highly-anticipated Bottega Veneta debut ignited a contemporary update to the Matrix look that continued on through Roberto Cavalli and Prada. Whereas an exaggerated silhouette—strong shoulders and a cinched waist—was seen everywhere from Gucci’s rock concert of a fashion show to Karl Lagerfeld’s final Fendi collection. Our personal favorite, however, had less to do with the clothes and more of those that wore them. For Fall/Winter 2019, a series of supermodels of the past returned to Milan to remind us just how the runway was first done. Here, just days after the MFW shows—Helmut Lang and Calvin Klein muse Tasha Tilberg explores life, love, and rebirth, wearing CR‘s favorite pieces from the week.
