Virgil Abloh has been killing it lately—between his recent Spring/Summer 2018 Off-White collection being the talk of Paris fashion week, to his out-of-nowhere collab with Jimmy Choo, it seems he is never out of ways to satiate our biggest desires.
Today, mytheresa.com is launching an exclusive collaboration with the designer’s lauded line, featuring a first-ever women’s version of his 3.0 sneaker. The shoes come in three colorways (solid white, white with light pink, and white with black), and feature orange tags on the front, encapsulating Abloh’s subversive, thoughtful take on street style. Sneakerheads will appreciate how similar the shoes have remained to the men’s “low” version. Fingers crossed that if all goes well, the “high” version (with an extended back) will be produced for the ladies soon.
In addition to the shoes, the collection also features Abloh’s trademark binder-clip bag, and a tote that reads “Sculpture,” both toting yellow and orange industrial straps. In terms of women’s collection, the binder-clip bag has done incredibly well for the brand, and it’s easy to see why it’s a hit with fans—the bag itself (as many of Off-White accessories are) is quite utilitarian. But the bold logo across the front, and the flashy straps easily make the minimalist objects a statement piece—and fashion folk love to make a statement.
The Off-White x mytheresa.com capsule collection ranges from 7 – 8, and is available online now.
