Pat McGrath Teases Kim Kardashian Collaboration

Pat McGrath is teaming up with Kim Kardashian for a mysterious collaboration. The internationally renowned makeup artist opened her cult range of cosmetics back in 2015, releasing small capsule collections that never fail to sell out in an instant. Her upcoming release Dark Star 006 is slated to hit shelves on April 11th. The 006 is a versatile new palette of eye shadows that can be applied wet, dry, and layered on each other to formulate different textures and colors. The shadow is designed to be painted on using your fingers, a technique that Pat is known to prefer when applying eye makeup.

Kim ignited rumors of a collaboration back in February when she appeared in one of McGrath’s Snapchats. She also posted a photograph on her own Instagram with Pat, captioned “#secretproject.” Pat herself began dropping hints five days ago, with a mysterious Instagram video that read: “PatMcGrath 006, Someone Is Coming.”

Yesterday, in yet another social media tease, the makeup artist confirmed that “someone” is Kim K. In the latest post, Kim stares wistfully into a mirror, sporting a bold Dark Star 006 smoky eye. The caption for the teaser simply states that all will be revealed when a new short film titled In The Mirror airs tonight at 7pm on E! News.
